Our partners are extremely important and help us accomplish our goals.

Our Partners

Our partners include patrons of the Disciples Center for Education, the ICOC Teachers Service Team, churches that are and will be working with the DCE to identify and co-sponsor individuals to received advanced degrees, education specialists from outside our family of churches, and a group called the Catalysts, leaders from around the globe that facilitates discussions and communication among the ICOC. We believe that we are better together than apart.

This partnering has been evident with discussions with leadership of the Chicago Church of Christ, exploring the possibility of co-funding local teachers who would qualify for PhD scholarships. We’ve cherished collaborative discussions among the DCE and ICOC Teachers at an extraordinary event in San Antonio last March when Christians with a love for the teaching ministry came together from Europe, Africa, the Philippines, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and continental US. The forthcoming journal, Teleios, is a direct product of collaborations with ICOC teachers such as Steve Kinnard, Dave Pocta, Steve Staten and Greg Marutsky.
